Jellyfish Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Hoping someone here can help me ID a mysterious Eclipse... Is it true that all of the MIK Eclipses had/have a TOM tailpiece/bridge arrangement? In other words, if an Eclipse has a wraptail it is almost certainly USA production?
serial Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I believe that to be the case. Logo and 12th fret dots are also indicators as well as stamped 6-digit serial #.
Jellyfish Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 Thanks Serial! I don't have access to the logo or serial # (just a crappy mobile phone photo from the seller) but I can clearly see the wraptail and that the 12th fret dots are closer together than on the import ones... All good signs.
