FretFire Posted January 27, 2006 Author Posted January 27, 2006 you wouldn't split those up would ya? I've been wanting a 500XL... If they don't go via the auction I'll get back to your for sure .
FretFire Posted January 27, 2006 Author Posted January 27, 2006 I've had some inquiries regarding the Buy It Now price (which will disappear after the first bid anyways). Yes these pickups are $50 a piece new, but including the custom mounting rings and shipping for everything I'll be just about breaking even if BIN is used. As I said, you also have the option to just bid and take the BIN option away. Thanks for the interest so far .
black magic Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Oh man, I would love to have the L500XL, they just smoke!! Jack.
Scottcrud Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Hey Jack, I got first dibs if they don't sell in the auction.
black magic Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 I know Scott, I was just wishing I had one in general bro :-) I hope you get it!! Dave is a cool guy who made the rings, I have dealt with him before and he is a big Jackson nut like me. Jack.
Scottcrud Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Well looks like someone has bid on them. How do I get in touch with Dave to get one of those pickup rings?
black magic Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Scott, I will look for the info for you. Jack.
FretFire Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 www.fretsonthenet.com, his email address is listed there. He also made me a set of custom trim rings for my strat which has a Lawrence 500R/C setup, they only have the height adjustment screw holes so if I ever want to switch to standard sized humbuckers there won't be any holes in the guard.
black magic Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Yep, that is Dave!! He made me some custom trem arms and set up a guitar for me, awsome guy!! Jack.
FretFire Posted February 2, 2006 Author Posted February 2, 2006 Bump, these pickups are ending today.
