Electronic experts question fuse replacement

Hello all, I blew a fuse in my vox nightrain. 

It's a "t160 mal 250v" They seem rather hard to find locally. I've only seen them on Amazon  U.S.  Is there a alternative fuse one could use instead, or does it have to be that exact type?

I'm not up on my electronics, and would prefer not to blow things up.

From the description you've given, it seems to be a 160 mA slow-blow fuse, rated at 250 VAC. (The "t" stands for "time delay.")

It's safe to use a slightly lower fuse rating (150 mA, for example) but don't go higher.
