gorch Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 A while back I discovered Wakeley in an article somewhere and found the first album on Qobuz. Keep listening since. I personally like orchestral rock music for along time not only from ELO, but generally Jon Lord's stuff with Deep Purple and solo, Alan Parsons and others. Later Beatles had quite some strings in their arrangements. Today, virtual instruments make it fairly easy to compose complex stuff CD ready, assumed you have composing skills and Native Instruments Kontakt. The full album contains two titles having Satriani contributed. Enjoy!
