2007 Fender Special Run “59” Thin-Skin Stratocaster
Purchased new by me in 2007, this was a special run for Wildwood Guitars, Dave’s Guitars, and Music Machine (from whom I purchased this fine instrument).
Includes OHSC, an extra trem arm (Gilmour short arm from Callaham), and all case candy it came with.
Very little playtime, 6105 narrow tall frets are fresh and in great condition, as is the rest of the guitar.
Some polish swirl here and there, but nitro finish still looks great.
Not interested in any trades.
SOLD

Two-tone sunburst, modified “SRV” profile neck, along with some nice upgrades I did myself:

  • Lollar “Vintage Blackface” flatpole pickups
  • RWRP Middle pickup
  • Neck = 6.56k, Middle = 6.46k, Bridge = 6.9k
  • Highwood vintage saddles so no height adjustment screws to shred your hand
  • Callaham Vintage S Steel Bridge and trem block
  • Gotoh SD91 Vintage-style locking tuners
  • Triple-tree string retainer
  • Body routs and pickguard are shielded

Basic Specs for the run:

  • Two-Tone Sunburst
  • 100% Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish
  • 7.9 Lbs
  • Alder Body
  • 1 Piece modified “SRV” Maple Neck (.83” - .98”)
  • Slab Rosewood Fretboard
  • 9.5" Radius
  • 6105 Sized Frets
  • 5-Position Switch, Chrome Hardware
  • 3-Ply White, 8 Hole Pickguard

Nice, if only it was a "55" model which is what I'm after. Can't afford the 'real deal' so I'd settle for a reissue, modded or otherwise.
