Jim85IROC Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 I just picked up a Hamer XT P90 goldtop but it doesn't have the original pickups. I've got the original P90s in my other SATF P90 and I rather like how they sound, so before I buy an aftermarket set of P90s I wanted to see if by chance anybody had a set of the cream colored import P90s that say "HAMER" on the covers that they're willing to let go cheap. Pic is of my current SATF P90 to show what pickups I'm looking for:
scottcald Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Many of the imports are good guitars. I don't have those P90s, but if you have another project, I have some Humbuckers from an XT Monaco with the logo embossed on the chrome if you're interested.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm not nearly as fond of the Hamer branded humbuckers as the P90s. I've got a 2017 Monaco and I'm actually swapping those buckers out when I get around to it.

Jim85IROC Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 Found a set via a wanted post via a Hamer classified FB group. I pulled the pickups out of that XT goldtop yesterday. As expected, the bridge pickup is a Duncan p90 sized humbucker and the neck appears to be a Gibson p90. I may toss these into my p90 Firefly and try them.
