The Shark Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 This is a 2018 1958 Les Paul Chambered "Plain Top". It's VOS specs, but not VOS on the Warranty Checklist. All the case candy is included. Black switch plate, original strap buttons (has StrapLoks currently), and hang tags. The back plate has a few minor scratches. The back of the body has two or three slight scratches. DOES HAVE NOTICEABLE FINISH "FOO" BETWEEN THE BINDING AND THE NECK. I don't know if the binding shrunk a bit or what. You can feel it, but most of the Murphy Labs I have it too. It doesn't bother me at all, but in the interest of full disclosure, it's the only flaw. It's not peeling or getting worse. I've owned the guitar for about two years. Near mint otherwise. Subtle flame in the top from different angles. Nobody would call it a flame top. Neck is perfect. What I'd call a '58/'59 hybrid. Not as full as most '58 models. Weighs 7.4lbs. A feather. Plays great with .010 to .046 strings. Sounds like a cross between an ES-335 and a Les Paul. Just a little different mid because of the chambering. Warmer than the normal higher end Les Paul. Price is SOLD shipped in the lower 48. I will consider trades, but I'd have to make out a little above the cash price, in case I don't bond with your guitar! Let me know, if you have any questions. Pics suck, but the color is spot on.
The Shark Posted October 19, 2023 Author Posted October 19, 2023 Offers or trades are welcome. I want to move this great guitar to somebody looking for a great sounding "ES-335" in a Les Paul's body.
