JD Simo Trio - Songs From The House Of Grease

I became a big Simo fan through this forum. Collected any album from the first on until today. Saw him a few times a few years back in Germany. Having just received the latest album vinyl, after a few spins, I think it is a great one again, although quite short in number of songs.

What I particularly like with Simo is that most records have a longer last song that appears in big parts of improvised playing. It's where he's very good at. His long time drummer Adam Abrashoff is fantastic. Both Simo and Abrashoff are breathing improvised playing on stage.

Dunno who had recommended Simo initially. Are still followers here? Have you joined live appearances lately. He seems not travelling the EU anytime soon I think.
