  1. Quote was added last Friday guys. The guitar is now on Reverb if anyone wants to see more pics.
  2. Here is some info: This Hamer Monaco III is in Vintage Natural with Gold Hardware (I think pretty rare). When I see Monaco IIIs for sale, I see a few in Red, even fewer in Natural w/Chrome and hardly ever see a V. Natural with Gold. This one is all stock except for the TonePro Gold Roller Bridge. I do have the original bridge but the previous owners have worn off most of the gold and it looks pretty bad...the Roller Bridge is great with the Bigsby...highly recommend to anyone with a Bigsby. Condition is good to very good...normal pick marks and a few small dents....no cracks....neck joint is perfect. Frets are original and in very good shape. Comes with original Hamer case in fare to good condition. Price: Right now I see only two Monaco IIIs on Reverb (both in red) from $1695 to $2995...and only one on Ebay in Germany for $4,000 (Natural w/Chrome). I'm asking $2,400. I have more photos if an interested party want me to email directly. This guitar is now available on Reverb with more images posted.
  3. I worked for Kaman Music/KMC for 35 years and while I was there I had ordered a Monaco DuoTone with upgraded ebony board and triple body binding (See photo). I ordered it with a Natural top and Vintage Natural on the back & neck to give the mahogany a little color. I worked with Joel Danzig who personally picked mahogany body for extra lightness. At the time, Joel thought this was the only Monaco Duotone made. I own three other Monaco guitars and played this one the least....it looks brand new. Problem: the acoustic output has developed a ground hum that I can't get rid of (it hums loud if you are not touching the strings). I took to one repair guy who thought it was the acoustic pick up...he replaced...still hums and doesn't sound as good as original (and the original was cut so I'm not sure if it can be reinstalled). I took to a second guitar repair guy who tied everything he know but could not get rid of the hum. It's definitely grounded....but it still hums. Does anyone in the Fan Club know of a true Hamer expert repair tech to understands the Duotone system who might be able to help me. RBG
  4. I recently installed a Bigsby using a Vibrate on my SuperPro and it worked out very well. The back end of the Bigsby floats over the arch of the body but it seems to be very stable. Only downside is the Bigsby is placed slightly more "forward" than a Monaco but you get use to it. RBG
