Quick update. I sent the seller an email asking if he could let us know where this guitar was going. He sent me back an email saying that the first response he had from the highest bidder was, is this a PRS? Well it was downhill from there. The seller let me know that he is planning on re-listing on Thursday. I told him about this thread and he has started the registration process but is waiting approval. I told him I would provide a quick update until he can get on here and answer questions. He was concerned about all the shill bidding comments and would like an opportunity to address that. Almost 5K!!!!!!!!!!!!! My aspirations went when the price stalled at $2800, but I would have never thought it would go this high. I dont think the seller imagined that it would ever go this high either. I suspect Austin was bidder6 but I really hope he was 5????? Or at least someone we know.

I doubt it is a shill. Once bidder5 went over bidder4's bid they would not bid again when bidder4 out bid them again. They risk winning the auction and having no buyer. Anyhow, look at the sellers history, he seems like your average seller, selling misc stuff and lately some guitars and guitar related stuff.

maybe we should start a pool? The person closest to the selling price. Half goes to the winner and the other half goes to an HFCer to offset the cost (or everything to the winner if an HFCer doesnt win the auction) I assume however Austin will be at the top, so he might be all for this. Good luck!
