  1. Not sure but I don't think any nitro was applied. Looks like poly to me.
  2. I replaced the stock bridge with a Wilkinson/Gotoh compensated 3 saddle. Huge improvent in overall tone and boing factor. Didn't cost much either.
  3. Did you double box it? I doubt they will honor a claim if it wasn't.
  4. I recently upgraded my t-51 with a new Wilkinson compensated 3 saddle bridge. It was not expensive, and there is a noticeable improvment in sustain, boing, and overall tone. Seems to be overall much more lively now. Looks better too, more traditional.
  5. I saw the Black Rose tour with Gary Moore, and then the Chinatown tour with Snowy White. Scott Gorham had a broken leg on that tour. Didn't stop his tasty licks though! One of the best guitar bands ever, period. Their drummer, Brian Downey, is also at the top of my heap. And Phil, his talent was immense: writing, fronting, and laying down the pick driven bass lines with a rock warriors zest.
  6. Lonestar slinger here. The two channels with all the little switches do it all for me. Killer cleans and great reverb. Channel 2 goes from slight breakup to heavy D. The solo boost function is fantastic too. Also, on the bass side, I have a Buster 200 head, and a Mpulse Venture 600. I couldn't be happier with the tones, build quality, and reliability. You can trust your tone to Mesa.
  7. I have a Set Neck that is awesome. The med/large neck must be played to be appreciated. Mine has a 12" radius and 6150 frets, Fralin Unbuckers, Gotoh locking tuners and wraparound bridge. In deep violin amber with a quilt top. I also have a Vintage T on order. Should be done by August. No reason why we can't love our Hamers, but get a little strange on the side...Grosh...good.
  8. How many ohms? Doesn't say on the jack plate. I was kinda hopeing for something more complex.
  9. I too have a M3. It is just an incredible guitar with a great vibe. I found the stock duncans (hot and custom p-90's) just too hot for my tastes, so I swapped ]them out for Lollars. I move I will never regret. Gotta love that long scale, wide neck. The inlays and binding are truly a work of art. All that plus the hollowbody mojo. Welcome to the club. By the way, which is your next Hamer?
