This is a C code, 1986 Heritage VIP 1 guitar. It is a super rare Heritage, I have only see a couple in the past 5 yrs or so. This guitar is stamped #2 and it has a solid heastock repair. I took out the Schaller humbucker and installed a Seymour Duncan BLACK BACK. It has a beautiful antique cherry sunburst. I also took the guitar completely apart and buffed it out. It has dings, dents, etc but its a great player and the Kahler is awesome! Original Heritage case is included, these are also very hard to find! Trem bar is included too. If it wasnt for the repair and the #2, i would easily ask $1000....but i will sacrifice it for $450 shipped brentrocks@aol.com Thanks for looking!

Words cannot explain the first time you hold a vintage guitar in your hands and plug it in....this is in fact my first "vintage" instrument, although it was just built....lol I am so glad i went with P-90s! I love the tone of the Fralins...especially in this big box. You can really feel the wood react with the amp, especially in the neck position! I did a clip with the Colonial amp and the '66 Saturn amp......it is so sweet to hear how this guitar responds to 2 totally differnt ereas of technology. PLEASE EXCUSE MY PLAYING...I NEED TO PRACTICE MORE AND OR SERIOUSLY NEED SOME LESSONS. I love the contrast between the pickups. I talked to Lindy before i ordered these pickups and i was almost dead set on a overwind set....Lindy talked me into a "standard" wind and im so glad i listened to him....you will hear in the clips...this set has the perfect balance. The bridge has just enough bite to make that box howl. The neck smooth and fat!! What can i say...i'm totally floored!!! Never thought my first vintage guitar would be a hollow body Gibson, if you would have bet me a $100 bill 10 yrs ago that my first vintage axe would have been this ES 175...YOU WOULD HAVE WON!!!!! Thanks again for all the warm fuzzy compliments...i am super stoked!!! CLIPS.... http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_8874759 http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_8874772

I cant believe it has been almost 4 months to the day that i took this guitar in pieces to Pete! I got the call today that it was finshed. So after work i went over to pick it up and when i first saw it i couldnt believe my eyes! It was everything i had imagined and more. I really havent had time to play it much yet, i had to rush off after i got it home and am just getting home now to upload pics. I will have some clips tomorrow or sunday. Pete did an awesome job on this guitar, im very pleased!!!

Thanks bro! I must say i feel very lucky to have someone like Pete so close by! Waiting is tough...especially when i can go see it anytime!!!!!! Trust me Brent, you are lucky to have Pete nearby. Wish I did. Can't wait to see the finished project. How many guys have called dibbs?? Thanks again for enabling I mean helping me with my first Hamer. I mean really really think about it. All that luthier talent in that region after all of these years. I bet Pete could do the job on the 175 with his eyes closed and one arm tied behind his back !!! As I said before this project would make an excellent article on it and the regional talent and its history. This is our American "Heritage" at work. Any houses for sale there Brent?? Somebody should do an article on Pete...he has seen a lot of guitar history in Kalamazoo over the years. Houses are a dime a dozen around here!!!! THANKS FELLAS!

I stopped by Petes shop this morning to see how things were going. He hasnt gotten as far as i had thought he would be. He has been slammed with a lot of "little" stuff, (pickup swaps, spot repairs and buffs, electrical repairs, etc) he has to get that stuff moved out because peole get antsy. Anyway...he has the sealer coat on and sanded, ready for nitro.
