  1. Is it with Brent? If so, the video clips should be soon to follow... Actually, 0004 should be going over to our Fearless Leader, Ted. I won't belabor the forum with the simple logic of that conclusion, but you can find it for yourself in the "Other notes, algorithms and mysteries" section at the bottom of the Shishkov Ultimate Registry. That said, a "Brent's Guitar Emporium - Shishkov Ultimate Edition" would be a welcome addition to the narrative! ETA: it seems CMatthes beat me to the punch. I wish I had ordered one....I really missed the boat
  2. Thanks man. It is a killer player.I would like to find another someday.
  3. Nice JR!! I love the Pigtail wrap bridges...there is one on my Korina H137 and its the shit for perfect intonation and sustain.
  4. That is awesome....I wish I still had the one I used to own
  5. I would rather have this guitar than a 50s Les Paul....even a 59
  6. Old signature on a guitar that has been around the block a few hundred times.
  7. I talked to one of the more senior staff at HOG today. He told me that this Les Paul had an inked on serial #....HOG 001 - HOG 025. There were 25 made. They do not have the records of which one was sold to who, so looks like I will never know if mine is 001 or 002 or 003 or 004....you get the idea. But its nice to know its origins.
  8. I'm not 100% sure on the routing (but I think you are right)....but the cross section of the fretboard binding is a sure way to tell a Kalamazoo Gibson VS a Nashville
  9. I know it has a headstock repair...I knew it when I bought it
  10. http://www.houseofguitars.com/ I just got off the phone with them. They had 25 of these made in 1978 to commemorate their 25th Anniversary.
  11. it is at least a 78 or a 79....the guy I bought it from has pics of the original pots that date to 1978
