  1. Ahhhh!

    A cold beer.

    Cheers!

  2. ^^^ Rick Nielsen eat your heart out!
  3. There is a low, low organ riff on this, on vinyl, that blows stuffing out the ports of my PSB Stratus Gold's. They hit the note though. Great speakers.
  4. "She locked my heart up in her bottom drawer"?
  5. Somebody needs to 'shop Aslan's head into Keith's shoulders with the caption, "Don't speak to me about the Olde Music©️ Bitch! I was there when they made it!"
  6. He drinks a whiskey drink. He drinks a vodka drink...
  7. PBS Passport has the 1985 Horowitz concert in Moscow, "The Magic of Horowitz." It's in documentary format, but the control, the absolute effortless control of dynamics. Breathtaking. Closeups of his hand position. Beautiful piano music. Looks like a good family movie night option to introduce or stoke the younglings musical interest.
  8. Click on the pic to go to the source. It's an "amp on a chip" except it's discrete, built up from FETs. It has a preamp stage with a gain control similar to the Electra series of pedals, followed by a volume control then a set of power MOSFETs in a differential arrangement with a similar type gain control. Structurally not unlike a Tchula with a volume control jacked into a pair of Tchulas in push-pull. It will produce 2W out on 9Vdc, close to 4W at 12Vdc. Maximum voltage with the included components is 16Vdc. It would be finished today except either I misplaced or Ser Kevin forgot to include a few capacitors. I plan to fit it in a Hammond 1590BB and run it 12V. I'm hoping it does well enough to justify building an 18V version. There are a few component substitutions that will change the character of the output. The usual culprits .. hotter/colder preamp and/or hotter/colder power amp stuff. Now I gotta wait on Mouser.🐭
