jimlp Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I am selling my 4 month old Elitist SG. The guitar has never left the house and is in excellent condition, no dings, dents or scratches anywhere. The extras mentioned are pickups, I replaced the bridge pickup with an Angus humbucker and the neck pickup with a 57 Classic. The original pickups will also be included in the sale. This a great guitar that played and looked as good as the 2 Gibson 61's I played it against, I am just not getting along with the whole SG vibe. I played my buddys 1981 Hamer special and that convinced me I need one! I have almost $850.00 in this guitar, I am hoping to sell it for $600.00 shipped. I am a new member on this board but I have excellent feedback on ebay, search under jimphoto67. Contact me at jimgrafix@aol.com.
guitfiddler Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 , I am just not getting along with the whole SG vibe. You may not be not listening to enough Frank Marino material. Yank those humbuckers out of there, sell 'em on the board and pop in a set of GFS Dream 90's (in lieu of a much more complicated conversion to 3 Strat pickups, ala Frank's SG's.) (I have one just like you have, came from the same factory I believe, but mine was sold under the Tokai label.)
bruce919 Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 If you sell the org. Gibson/Epiphone Humbuckers out of that Elitist I will buy them.
