Nuclear Wessel Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I'm looking for a different bridge humbucker for my Robin Medley. I've got a JB Trembucker there now. That pickup sounds OK except in the upper registers where it sounds thin and shrill. I'm looking for something with fatter mids and smoother highs. If anyone's got a black Custom Custom Trembucker, PATB1 Trembucker, or Blues Trembucker they wanna trade, let me know. If you've got something else interesting, let me know! I might consider it. If it's out of a guitar where it was mounted to the body and the holes in the mounting tabs are drilled out, that's fine. Saves me the work of drilling them! I have 1.) a zebra '59 neck with 2 conductor wiring pulled from a Studio, 2.)a black Full Shred Trembucker bridge with the old baseplate that has three holes threaded into each of the tabs on the sides. I have the mounting ring with two holes on each side too.3.) a Custom P90 neck with black cover.4.) The JB Trembucker currently in the Robin. It's got the holes in the mounting tabs drilled out though, because it's mounted to the body.
RobB Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 This probably won't help, Rob, but here ya go:Nickel-covered SD JB from my koa MirageIIZebra DiMarzio (Super II, Super Distortion?) from my Dean V Time Capsule. Also have the neck p/u, as well.
