looking for red checkerboard Special

Still keeping my eyes open for early 80's Special w/ checkboard logo.  Serial number unknown, although it's recognizable because of my youthful abuse.

It was trans red flame top and left me in the early 90's with a headstock repair and hole drilled into the top for a mini switch.  The headstock repair was done well and the hole got plugged by a later owner, I think it was placed parallel and behind the 3 way (hard to remember).  Other thing, the bridge pickup route was rudely widened for an EMG, although a normal passive pickup covers it.
