I know there are some Budda Superdrive experts here

Your question piqued my curiosity and since I'm waiting on Contractor invoices this morning...

This is the Budda-in-triangle logo (on the amp in question):

...which I read is a pre-Peavey mark.

From a TGP post (about a different amp):

Quote

The buyout was around 2009. You can tell the Pre-Peavey Budda's from the logo on the face on the front, it'll be the fat man in the triangle. The Peavey Budda's have an oval logo with the word Budda written inside.

The Pull/Modern knob was pre-Peavey feature. Peavey hasn't redesigned the Super Drive series. They may have changed a few components, but the design is still the same.

Fun fact about the Super Drives, Dave Friedman of Friedman amps actually designed the preamp circuit.

And, because we need to confirm with two sources (or at least that used to be the standard of journalistic integrity), from the Budda forum:

Quote

A quick way to identify the amps would be to look at the front of the amp. The older amps have a little image of a Buddha framed by a triangle. It's just to the left of the on/off switch. The newer Peavey built amps have replaced the little phat guy with the familiar Budda oval shaped lable.

Does it matter? Found this review: Peavey made Buddas - Full Review/Comparison | The Gear Page

Hope this helps (I found it interesting).

I saw the post about the triangle logo as well, but I also saw another item that said the triangle logo was on some early Peaveys because they were in transition.

Based on the serial number, the M apparently indicates 2007, which would make it pre-Peavey.

No idea whether it matters for anything other than perceived resale value.  If you get it and like how it sounds, it's good.
