Jimbilly Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 At first glance I thought "cheap import off aliexpress", but brass nut, T top Grovers. Possibly made or assembled in Nevada by Dan Linn? Neck through, coil tap on the volume knob, I haven't taken the pickups off yet, fretboard looks ebony. Any of y'all know about these? 3 Quote
Jimbilly Posted May 27, 2025 Author Posted May 27, 2025 bridge looks like a european (?) "Boston T-350 G". The overall build quality is looking 'affordable import' Quote
velorush Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 From (lots of) Googling, there should be a serial number and model number under the back cover. Really (really) iffy references, but it appears (qualified: as best I can tell) it was made in Nevada by Spirit Guitars. The Sales Manager was Dan Linn. Check this out: Spirit Guitar - Nevada - opinions? - Guitar Forum - Music Player Network The guy reaches Spirit Guitar and posts the response about six posts down. Interesting guitar. 1 Quote

velorush Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 I discovered a new Google capability that led me to a few more related items: They had semi-hollow models: Spirit SHG 3400 TEAL unknown year Green | Reverb And another: Spirit Model SHG3600 VB USA Made 335 Style Electric Guitar in Hardshell case | Reverb And I found their take on a thinline Tele: AMERICAN SPIRIT ARMS ELECTRIC GUITAR Very Good | Carson Jewelry & Loan | Carson City | NV Each ad has a little something additional about the Company, such as the location of Gardnerville, Nevada. That led me to this (Halloween, 2007) article: Briefcase | Carson City’s Trusted News Source Since 1865 The factory link, www.spiritfactorydirect.com, is dead, but there is some interesting information there. 3 Quote
