It sounds like it COULD be a good way to get those tones (if they are what you want) in presets. With some ability to tweak them.......However, if I understand it, if you want to go beyond studio/recording, you then need to incorporate a laptop into your live rig. OR plug it into the Quad Cortex....If/when they are able to work together---Apparently not yet. And then your costs go from $200 to $2000. Or something like that.

Over my head, at least from first look. Until I know more.
