Did some homework on someone who always wants to trade but who was giving me bad vibes...

There's a man named Jeff who for years and years was always making trade offers on guitars I had. I always found him slightly offputting. We couldn't talk about anything via or text or email, I had to call him. The trades weren't always a bit in his favor, he could never take clear photos of his guitars, they were always out of focus. He just always felt like a bit of a bully, but not quite enough of a dick I wanted to block him or not talk to him again. 

So... I started wondering about him after he reached out to me again last week. It turns out he was a cop and was infamous for shooting a suspect multiple times and putting him in a coma. The lawsuit took years and years and it turns out he has qualified immunity. 

Anyhow, I finally understood the vibes he was giving off. It's exactly like cop vibes. Too many older cops always felt pushy and bossy to me. Not always to extremes, but just enought to make me feel uncomfortable. This was exactly like that.

Kinda know what you mean. I have a friend , a 20+ year retired cop. He can be a little pushy at times, not hard sell tho'. I feel like I always have to censor some of the things I want to say so as to not push any buttons. Like I can't totally be myself, unless we're both drinking a little too much, then it gets relaxed.
