polara Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Okay, with the Artist, the Studio Custom and the G&L I don't need the funky guitars. They're fun but... well! Here is a 1966-ish Teisco Del Ray ET-200 Tulip guitar. Piant is great, has some finish cracking around the neck that I tried to photograph. Bridge pickup is kinda corroded, and the tuners have the usual aged patina. Stays in tune, has original tremolo, badge, witing, all that. Pickups switch quietly. Action is very low and BORDERS on buzzy with .010s. If you want to hear it, go to http://myspace.com/hitchcocks and listen to "Over You." That heavy, heavy guitar at the beginning is the Tesico. I'm serious. The pickguard is the bad news: it broke and the previous owner put in a black metal jack plate. If you find another Tulip pickguard, it'll look nice, and frankly this metal plate is sturdier. Comes with some sorta new hardshell plush-lined case. I'd like to see $200, shipped, with case. Then the two-month old Daisy Rock Stardust Elite. Top of the line, made by Schechter's assembly line in some Asian slave mill. Plays great, flawless condition, new strings, sounds great. NO reason to own it though with two Hamers. The cheapest online price is $349. How about $249 plus shipping? Hunnert dollars off!I'll entertain weird trade offers. I could use a Line 6 delay modeler, or maybe a reverb pedal and a delay pedal. An acoustic guitar. A cool synthesizer. A home stereo? Snowboarding equipment? Let's make it interesting!PayPal okay. Email me at estelladesign at mac dot com. Thanks!Teisco frontTeisco headstockTeisco backTeisco heelDaisy RockThe Rock
formula73 Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 I don't know about the Teisco, but I like the band!
polara Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 Hey, then it's a Teisco as played by Hitchcock Blondes! Thanks for the compliment!
