Just a heads up - one of the project fix'er ups I picked up recently (another USA B.C. Rich Warlock LOL) goes on eBay later today. Here's a link to the auction...

Thought I'd give you guys a heads up because of the high percentage of 80s metal freaks who hang out here hahaha. Seriously, it's a pretty killer player and tone machine (I've contemplated keeping it, just ask Kiz), so share the word with anyone you think may be interested.

Edited to add that the auction starts at noon Pacific time today (Saturday) so the link might not work until after it officially starts.

Nice. Great looking fix up job.

I love the older BC Rich guitars. The Bich, Mockingbird, Eagle, and

Warlock are great playing and bad-ass looking.

How do those Bill Lawrence pups sound? I've never played anything

with them before. I know a lot of folks dig them.

The Bill Lawrences sound fantastic. That's part of the reason I was/am reluctant to sell the guitar - the shape is too Munsters for me, but between the snap of the bolt-on, all the maple, the ebony board and the Bill Lawrences, I don't think you could come up with a better recipe for in-your-face rock. I was ripping on it the other night playing some Pantera, Testament and King Diamond stuff and this thing's got the tone, omigosh does it ever have it. Played some stuff by Extreme too (Nuno was a Bill Lawrence user) and I was getting that same articulation and overall tonal sass.

I'm only selling this thing because of the shape (if it was a strat-style, it would be staying here) and because the potential profit margin means I can likely plan on picking up one or more fix'er-uppers with the proceeds. I'm really enjoying getting back into guitar repair/setup/hotrodding stuff lately.

And I'm seriously considering Bill Lawrence replacements for my maple-board Ibanez RG550 after the test-drive with the Warlock and considering they are somewhat cheaper than a lot of the other stuff out there.
