Jack C Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 2000 or 2001 (I don’t understand TCM numbering). S/N is 100118. Killer Mild V neck carve (chunky). Tobacco-burst finish. Pretty, dark rosewood board with paua shell inlays. Guitar is stock and has never had or needed any repairs. Great playing, resonant guitar. Very even sounding with a nice low-mid push. Frets in great shape. Comes with the cool green OHSC. Several purely cosmetic issues. The previous owner used a vinyl buckle guard on the back of the guitar and it reacted with the nitro finish such that the finish in this area isn’t smooth. There’s no discoloration or anything – you can just feel where the finish in uneven. Otherwise, there’s a little minor finish wear in the forearm area and several minor dings, but overall it’s in great shape. Price is $999 shipped to the lower 48. (I’ll take paypal if you eat the fees). The only trade I’d be interested in is a Gibson R7 or R8 (with cash from me). Jack C Posted August 22, 2006 Author Posted August 22, 2006 Reply sent. I think the guitar is sold. I'll let you know if the sale doesn't go through. Thanks
Jack C Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 So, what happened finally? That's a good question. The guy said he's buying but hasn't paid yet. I'll follow up with him tomorrow and get him to poop or get off the pot.
