Stike Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Here's a handy little device. Works basiclly like a Carl Martin Combinator. It has four loops, five presets and it can be programed to turn on any of the loops simultainiouslly. Programing is a breeze, in play mode hit the preset you want to program, press the play/write button so it's in write mode, press the switch for which loop you want in (switch 1 selects loop A, switch 2 selects loop B and so on), put it back in play mode and go. Each loop has a DC out ( standard Boss barrell size ) for powering each pedal, the jumpers Voodoo Lab sells for the Pedal Power work. If you power the device with something like a One Shot you'll have enough juice to run the device and pedals. I've never heard any extra noise and the switches don't pop either. There's not a lot of info on these but they were made for BC Rich by a Japanese company (Prince somethingorother ) several years ago. I'm selling it because I'd like some more loops, presets, a master mute, and the ability to switch an amps channels or a FX loop. Other than those niggles it's a pretty cool little box. It's in pretty good shape, only gigged once. If you're new around these parts I've been hangin' at this club house for sometime now and think most folks here would buy from me with no concerns. Asking $200.00 shipped to the lower 48. PayPal OK. Edited for price drop, $160.0 shipped
Rockola Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 ( standard Boss barrell size ) Another bump with Boz Burrell
Jorge Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Hi Stike,I have a question.I undertand the unit "remembers" how your pedals were set up, and combined for each "looop" when you programmed it last time. For example, in "Loop 1", you had a distorsion on, on "Loop 2", the same distorsion, but louder, on "Loop3" a different distorsion plus a EQ pedal, and on "Loop 4", only a delay set at a specific tempo. If that is so, and you if have the distorsion pedals and the EQ pedal going through the front of the amp, but the delay going through the amp's FX loop, why does it not work for what you need? Thanks!
Stike Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 It wont deal with pedals in front of an amp and an FX loop. I just scored a used DMC GCX and Ground Control Pro which trumps this thing majorly.
