jrw32 Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Hello,I have a 96 Hamer Artist, semi-hollow, I'm looking trade...it's in great condition, I'd give it an 8/10...stellar top as you can see, honey finish. No major dings/dents...there's maybe 3 small dings on the body no bigger than a pen-cap (not thru the finish). No other major scratches/dings, & it does have some Hamer-itis on the side of the fretboard along the 1st 3 frets or so. SD Seth Lover pickups. Comes w/ OHSC. I'm looking to trade for a PRS CE 22 (possibly CE 24) w/ Wide-Thin neck, a P90 equipped guitar, or a Tele w/ at least a 'bucker in the neck position. Let me know what you have, thanks for looking! (sob story below).When mrs stonge and I decided to buy Casa des Stonge a few years ago, we sold a few Hamers to raise the down payment. After I auctioned my 96 Artist s/n 644411 on ebay to Michael's Music in Long Island, mrs stonge informed me that was one of her favorite guitars, and that she wished I had not sold it. I had to complete the deal at that point, but I have been looking for her guitar since then and am hoping to get that one back home for her. If that is her old guitar, I would be very interested in working something out - if it isn't, it is still a real nice guitar and I hope somebody enjoys it.If anybody does find 644411, please let me know at stongemon-at-aol-dawt-com. Yah, that's the 'one that got away'...
