Not if you want it to intonate correctly.

If you honestly believe that, you are mistaken. Scale length means nothing when dealing with intonation on a typical guitar. Whoever told you that miniscule difference in scale length makes any difference at all obviously plays in their bedroom, not on stage. If it had to be 24.65" scale length to intonate properly, then all those Fenders are seriously flawed.

If you are joking, then GOOD ONE.

I don't think we are taking about the same thing. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think you can take a Fender 25.5" scale guitar, move the bridge to make it 24.625" and expect it to intonate correctly. You would need a replacement neck calculated for a 24.625" scale.
