tobereeno Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 that's a production 1991 Sunburst. Definitely a nice top, I think the pictures are poor however and that's likely a 59 Burst finish, which will look significantly more red and yellow in person.
Brewmaster Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Well we all know it's not a 25th Anniverary. It looks like a 91 Sunburst, standard production model. It looks nice enough and pretty clean for a 14 year old guitar.
serial Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 That's the old original Hamer '59 burst which is pretty much like the photos. They have new sunburst that is close (formerly the "BCR burst" with the cognac tint to it, I think it is "vintage darkburst" or something now). The '59 burst of the mid 90s was more similar to a '60 burst which is putrid bright neon red and orange. Yuk. This one is classic and looks great.
