Someone stepped on the input jack, which cracked the main circuit board in my Boss ME-50.So, I'm looking for an upgrade, although will consider whatever people will offer up. First on the list is a Boss GT-8, followed by a ME-50, and then followed by a GT-6. Will consider anything else, though.Thanks, Brian

I've had it for awhile (a year or so?) and compared it to alot of what's out there (PodXT Live, TonelabSE, GNX300, others I'm sure I'm forgetting). For me, the GT-8 wins out. However, it is also more complex than any other unit I've tried (it's quite a bit more complex than even the GT-6 I replaced with it). So, if you can't resist tweaking, stay far away! -Austin
hamerhead Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 The other guit player in my band has a barely used - I mean maybe 2 or 3 times at practice - ME-50 that he wants to sell. $225 shipped with all the stuff (power supply, manual, etc....)
