'99 Deluxe / Ash body, Honey Blonde, maple neck, maple fretboard, locking schaller's, abalone inlays, mint ohsc, and all case candy...it's 99% mint--only ding is one fingernail sized ding on the back of the body beside the back cover. Minimal fretwear. NOW...for the good part: the guitar has the John Mayer "Big Dipper" pickups. These have a "scooped midrange" voicing. They're currently not available for purchase; these & the Mayer pickgurd assembly came out of a new Mayer strat which was damaged by UPS during shipment...this was a local store buddy hook up deal. The cost of the pickups/pickguard and installation was $300. So, this is a pretty nice upgrade. I'm not much of a Mayer fan, but this guitar sounds AWESOME! Just like a strat should, I absolutely love the funky sounds the 2 & 4 positions of this guitar have. Why am I offering it for trade?? B/C I have a bad back/neck, and I'm getting rid of any guitars under 8lbs. This bad boy is in the high 8's/ almost 9lbs. My selling price would probably be $950 plus shipping. So please feel free to hit me w/ fair trade offers.
