Navigator Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I mentioned a while ago that my recently acquired Studio Custom has graphite saddles which I don't care much for. I've pretty much struck out finding replacement saddles, and even Hamer doesn't have 'em. They do have a replacement bridge ($25) but I'm thinking why not go to nickel since I love the way it ages. Has anyone made the switch? Not sure I want to do the Tonepros thing, and I'd like to get good quality without going overboard. Anyone know what specs I'd be looking for (standard tuneomatic, etc.?). And any specific suggestions as to what and where to get would be greatly appreciated.
Stokesdead Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I have considered this as well. THe bridge on my '93 seems to have to much forward/backward movement with the strings off. The guitar also has lightly aged nickel covers so nickel bridge assembly would match better.~CS

Now if only I had posted it in the right forum! Oh moderators...does anyone know how to move this out of the classifieds section?
