Camstone Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I found a guitar that I'm interested in and the guy is selling it as a package with a 1982 Fender Studio lead amp. He says that it's one of the Rivera designed tube amps with reverb. I own a 1980 Super Champ and I'm guessing that this Studio Lead is the next larger model? Anyone familiar with this model or what it may be worth? Thanks!
Zoner Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 Rivera era? Yes. Rivera designed? Dunno. Tube? Sorry, solid state. My buddy had one and while it was a servicable practice rig it is not going to want to challenge the Super Champ to any tone contests. If it's a "freebie", it might be cool to have around. If it is part of a non-splittable package deal adjust the price accordingly. Z
