I have both one of these and the previously discussed Princeton. A Teefus-modded C30 is a thing of beauty and I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

I've heard there are mods and simple tube upgrades that make a difference

based on what you want to accomplish.

This one is dead stock and unmolested.
