petemfa51 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I enjoy seeing Gregs latest creations. Where are they??As all of us Hamer fans know, our favorite guitars don't get the respect some of the other BIG name stuff does. Those pictures keep these beauitful instruments in the spot light and dealers like Greg keep those guitars MOVING to new owners which helps keep HAMER ALIVE.I was looking for a Jr. that Greg had posted a picture of (jazz burst with quilt top) when I realized all his stuff seems to have vanished??What gives??
Camstone Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 He posted some great pics last week of a couple of Tally's that he has for sale and a gorgeous Jazzburst Standard Custom. They are here in the "For Sale" area, take a look at last week for posts that were started by the man himself. The quilt topped junior is mine, I special ordered it from Greg about this time last year and it showed up last fall. Here's a reprise for your viewing pleasure:
Guest pirateflynn Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Yeah, here are a couple nice ones.http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25124http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25444Is there something else you're looking for?
petemfa51 Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 THAT..is THE NICEST Jr. I have ever seen IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!How's it sound????
Camstone Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 It's bright and biting with tons of sustain (its korina under all that quilt). A cool contrast to my other guitars. Has a nice big neck on it and the top is beyond words as you can see. The color of the burst changes in different light. It was ordered as Tobacco, but ranges everywhere from iced tea to '59 to tobacco to jazz burst around the edges depending on the lighting.Hey, if you do a search by member, you can look-up all of Greg's posts and see all of his amazing Hamer orders shown off by his awesome photo skills.
Feynman Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Or, you know, grab a pot of coffee, a drool worthy bib and a comfortable chair:Hamers Galore
