MCChris Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 My 4-string Cruise does everything I need a 4-string to do and more, so I don't need a second. I do however want a 5-string to mess around with, so this one's on the block. Walnut finish (for that early Michael Anthony look), bridge upgraded to a Leo Quan BadAss II, pickups upgraded to Duncan Basslines (can't recall the models offhand but they are the HOT ones; I can provide more detailed info to interested buyers later). Currently strung with flatwounds. Includes original bridge, pickups and gig bag with Cleveland Music Center logo stamped on the accessories pocket (no pics of bag but can provide if requested). Need an inexpensive bass for home recording, gigging in seedy clubs, or to give to a beginner? Here ya go! No Paypal; postal money orders and personal checks OK (bass will ship when funds clear). Hamer not for sale; G&L gone:
MCChris Posted February 29, 2008 Author Posted February 29, 2008 Back when I was in college Elderly Instruments would hold these "Dutch Auctions" in the store where they'd put an item up for sale and reduce the price by a certain amount each day until someone bought it. I'd really like to move this bass so I'm gonna do the same here in $5 increments. So, today's price: $220 shipped (to the CONUS only).

AdmiralB Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 These are nice. The local Fedner dealer has one in Phil Lynott-approved black with mirrored guard.
hamertek98 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 How wide is the nut? (not you .... the actual nut). I could use a bass for practice.
