WTB: Mesa Boogie 20/20 Power Amp

I'm pretty sure they had one at the Guitar Center in Baton Rouge last time I was there.

Can't recall the price and that store is all over the board on their used gear pricing, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to call and see what they want for it. 225-927-0158.

$500. I was watching one on ebay and its already over that price and auction isn't over yet. I figured $500 is decent, and it's a cool chrome one too.

That's a reasonable price. The fans are noisy little buggars, but the amp sounds good. As a nice side-effect, the fans on the one i use just happen to spin right around 440 when the amp is in standby. Makes a nice little tuner.

Overall, the 20/20 breaks up pretty early (around 10 o'clock on mine...), but 20W is *plenty* loud fer what i use 'em for...

I'm sure you'll love it. What pre are you using in front of it? I've been using a TriAxis. It's a good combo.

I really dig my Vox Tonelab LE floor EFX. I've been using Tech21 Power Engines. I just wanted to try this amp to give it a bit more tube tone. Worth a try.
