Really beautifully shot, multi-paged article on the Korina Jr. - good review, although they subtract points for being expensive (!!!!!!!). Those must cost a fortune to import or something if they are placing them in the same price category as a PRS or Les Paul. The article does mention that Hamer's build quality and attention to detail are "flawless", and get the rare bashing in regarding Gibson's lame QC.Check it out!
Jeroen Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Yeah.. Over here in Europe they'll cost as much as a PRS or a Gibson... You'll also have to know where to find them. Best way is still to buy one in the USA even though you'll have to pay $250 for shipping, but it is still cheaper.Jeroen
cmatthes Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 I noticed that they give the "List/Retail" price of 1,699 Pounds - that's about $3,275 US!!!!! You can buy 2-3 of them here for that. Yikes. That CAN'T be "street" price.
Jeroen Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Well, they are still trying to sell a Hamer USA Californian here in Holland for € 3500 with the current Euro/Dollar rate that'll be like $ 4500!!!!I am looking forward to hear some prices from that new guy in Belgium...I guess Conrad will keep us posted on that. My next Hamer USA will come from PA thats for sure!!!!Jeroen
