FS: Darn nice classical guitar...

I doubt there will be much interest here, but what the heck...

I'm sure most of you have read my recent threads gushing over this guitar. I have a new brilliant plan to restore the reign of 80s guitarawesomeness to the planet, so I think I would like to transform this one into a shredder...

For whatever my opinion is worth, I've never heard a classical guitar at this price that I have liked the sound of this much (subjective, of course)

1980 Guillermo del Pilar

650mm / 54mm

Spruce/Indian (I believe - that's how it was listed when I bought it)

Fairly thick neck with a flat profile

No breaks or repairs that I can tell.

Someone before me added a strap button to the guitar. The button fits very snugly and seems like it could be useful, but the hole for the button doesn't appear to be all that professionally done (see pics).

I have right at $2200 shipped in this guitar, and that's what I would like to get out of it.

Plenty of what I would call typical playing wear, but overall in very good shape.

Includes the generic SKB hardshell case I received it in.

Thanks for looking.

Just let me know if you have any questions.

This del Pilar was made by del Pilar Sr. Not a whole lot of them around according to my guitar teacher, who has one made by both del Pilar Jr. and del Pilar Sr. I have heard del Pilars up against some of the finest classical instruments in his shop.

del Pilar hands down.
