cmatthes Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 I was flipping through the new CityPaper (DC) this afternoon, checking out the upcoming shows and there was a blurb on Lez Zeppelin (coming to the State theatre in Falls Church, VA on the 16th). The article mentions the "new" phenomenon of talented all-female tribute bands, "Witness Cheap Chick and AC/DShe...". Hey - it's a mention, right?! ANY press is good press.Just thought I'd share.

Whoo-whooo!! Thanks, Chris! Another "PUPPET SHOW and spinal tap" moment for Cheap Chick! Hey, we'll take what we can get! Now I just gotta get our asses out to DC to cash in on the glory! Actually, DC would be awesome because I could see my DC homeboys (i.e. you and Duav!) I wanna open for Brother Love and whatever band you and Dave happen to be doing the week I come out! If one of you guys go see Lez Zeppelin, tell my pal Steph (the Jimmy Page) that I sentcha! I really want to see, or better yet play, with those girls!

You know you have to go to Vienna and check in on him at his tanning salon.BTW, it was the DC CityPaper that ran that great article on Punky a few years back....and now, the very same publication is heralding Cheap Chick. Is this an awesome world, or what?
