zorrow Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I'm looking for a Fernandes Sustainer Kit FSK-101 -- that is, the one that is for guitars with a humbucking on the neck.

zorrow Posted October 3, 2008 Author Posted October 3, 2008 Why not? Thanks! I just checked their site and they offer a quite varied set of options -- just sent them an email, asking a couple of questions -- suddenly this looks better to me than going the Fernandes' way, as I might avoid doing some routing to my guitar.

proxmax Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Looks like I can get them if you need, zorrow.dave, talking about sustainiac or fernandes?
zorrow Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Looks like I can get them if you need, zorrow. That's cool, Dave. Can you please PM-me with the details, including the price? I emailed the Sustainiac guys and they would even provide some custom components -- such as a combination of push-pull pots and a three-position switch, so I wouldn't have to modify my guitar. I kind of liked that!
elduave Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Guys-I thought you were after these:http://www.fernandesguitars.com/sustainer.html
zorrow Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Yes Dave, at the beginning I was looking for the FSK-101, but I realized I would have to drill two holes in my guitar in order to install that kit. Enters the Sustainiac. The guys from their shop tell me that they would provide two push-pull switches and installation instructions -- I might loose the master tone functionality, but I'm one of those (boring) guys just using the tone in full-high and the bridge pickup the 90% of the time.
