The Shark Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Here's my Yamaha SBG-3000 w/ non-original hardshell case. The guitar is a player and not collector's condition. The guitar has non-original Seymour Seth Lover pickups. The covers are pitted a bit as are the parts, but the vibe is all there. The color is actually exactly like Les Paul Customs (think Randy Rhoads) and there is only one 1/32" ding on the body back in the tummy tuck. Some scratches and usual wear for a 25 year old guitar. The S/N is 134477. Two of the knobs are missing the inserts, but all original. The pots have been changed (no push-pulls). I would conservatively call this guitar a 7.5 of 10. The pics are a bit "white", but the guitar is a beautiful aged creme, I assure you. I'm asking $1,500. Partial trades considered. Thanks for looking.
kenjones Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 I've always dug the SG-2000/3000 series. The 3000 models are fancy. Pictures just can't do these guitars justice. You have to see it in person to really appreciate the inlay work.
The Shark Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 I have a mint one. I'm not sure that selling the "player" is such a good idea. Somebody buy this thing from me.
