Guest Buck Dharma Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Here is a link to a real nice guitar for you shredder players out there. Every Chandler I have had has been great. I wish to god I never sold my Aztec gold Strat that was made by him. I would give five times what I sold it for now to get it back!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW
black magic Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Oh my is that tempting!! What is a Bigblock floyd? Jack.
DavidE Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 If it was actually made by Chandler, wouldn't you expect it to have a Chandler logo on the headstock? I bought a Chandler neck in the 80's to build my own guitar and it had the logo.
Guest Buck Dharma Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 My strat that I had no Chandler logo anywhere but the neck pocket of the neck and body. It was the best strat I ever played.
Guest Buck Dharma Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Oh my is that tempting!! What is a Bigblock floyd? Jack. I have no idea since I never had a Floyd or a shredder.
Smakutus Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 If it was actually made by Chandler, wouldn't you expect it to have a Chandler logo on the headstock? I bought a Chandler neck in the 80's to build my own guitar and it had the logo. I was a Chandler dealer in the late 80's and on all the necks we got from them the Chandler logo was a decal on the back of the headstock. That guitar body and neck are newer than that.out..Jeff.
Guest Buck Dharma Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 You may be correct. How old that neck and body is I don't know how you could possibly know from the pic. My gold strat in the pic a couple threads up didn't have the logo and it was hand made by Chandler in San Francisco in the early eighties this was when he made custom guitars for people. I think by the late eighties he was selling parts and some of his own design guitars.
