carfish7 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 This one is very early, likely late 70's, and all original. All Mahogany and for added authenticity there is a headstock repair that solved a minor crack and a delamination (100% sound, looks a little funky). This is a superb guitar, and has been in my collection for a long time. I'll get pics up if there is any interest and would like to see $450 w/OHSC if anyone wants to jump. Hasty teaser pics: Z
carfish7 Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 --> QUOTE(David B @ May 10 2009, 11:22 AM) ← Very cool. Thanks. I forgot to mention the serial # is 72509 and I'd take a trans-green Sustainblock Vector in trade. It compares favorably with this guitar, but sounds more like the model upon which it is based. The Ibanez Destroyer sounded waaaay different, more like a big. angry Tele. The Burny is a super vintagey ride with the warm, ,clear PAF tone in spades. I'm not in a hurry to see it go, but I know some folks really like these and it needs to be played more. Lockbody's Vector has ruined me for pointy things. Z
