FS: Dr. Z KT-45 head, mint, new pwr tubes

This is the 15th Anniversary 2003 head. I bought it new in May 2007 (I have the receipt) so it's actually about 2 years old. It's been used only at very low volume at home in a smoke-free environment. BRAND NEW POWER TUBES! Sounds great and it works perfectly. It's been sharing amp duties with my Route 66 so it hasn't been used much. Not a scratch on it. For those unfamiliar with this amp - It can take either a tube or a solid state rectifier. Currently it has a tube rectifier (5AR4). It's rated 45 watts. Absolutely beautiful tones - warm, rich and chimey. Because of how the controls are voiced it's hard to get a bad tone out of it. It's extremely pedal-friendly. When pushed it gives up an articulate distortion - closer to a Pete Townshend sound rather than, say, Van Halen. You can hear that sound on the demo at the Dr. Z site. It has 3 speaker outs - 4, 8 and 16 ohms. The tone knobs also function as gain controls so you can control the gain for high and low registers separately. $1150 shipped conus.

I have a short but perfect track record on ebay and several good deals each on The Gear Page and Z-Talk.

Go to the following link. There is a column of 6 icons to the right of each pic. Click on the 2nd one from the top and the image will expand.

Is it me, or it does look like a Tally?

Price?

Ummm, no pics but I can almost guarantee it doesn't look like a Tally,

Hi strummer, and welcome!

The "Tally" reference above was to the Hamer Talladega guitar. I was merely having fun and stating the obvious, that the amp probably looks nothing like a Talladega, which can be seen here:

Again, welcome and good luck with the sale!
