bobbymack Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 This guitar is pristine, and an awesome example of the quality coming out of Hamer's Custom Shop these days. Brazilian board, gorgeous 100+ year old earthen maple, custom Duncan Double D pickups wound for these guitars, 4 way switch....arguably the best Hamer out there right now in terms of innovative design, craftsmanship, and tonal options. Weighs 7.2 lbs (chambered). This was bought new from Wilcutt's, and has been played only in my house...no gigs for this beauty (as yet anyway!) These listed at $5300, I'm asking $SOLD shipped in lower 48. Paypal e-check preferred. I'll get some more pics over the weekend. OHSC, all Custom Shop documentation etc No trades please.................
veatch Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Shizzle... Talk about bad timing. She's a beauty. BTW - how does the neck carve compare to the regular Talladega?
bobbymack Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 Dunno, never played a regular...Obviously I'm open to a committed offer, I know the odds of this guitar bringing a decent price (especially on this board LOL) are slim at best, so try me...if nothing else it will be humorous to see what it brings.
DavidE Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Highly recommended seller. Heck, I'd even go FOUR FIDDY on this one!;-)All that being said, I gotta start a separate thread on the "Hamer Custom Shop" thing.
veatch Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Hmmm. Is the neck thick with a hard V shape? The Tally i played had a very pronounced V shape to the neck.
