Hi everyone. Does anyone have any info or schematics to wire a Hamer Monaco Elite for just one volume (that being the one closest to the neck) and leave the rest as is?

Thanks

I don't believe you can do what you said and still have it as-is unless you want to end up with master vol/bridge vol/tone

If you want to end up with master vol/knob that does nothing/tone, then just follow the chart below:

http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wirin...tic=2h_1v_1t_3w

You'll have to re-route quite a few wires, but it shouldn't be a big deal. If it were me though, I wouldn't do anything until I figured out what I was going to do with that middle spot.

O.k., since you asked (not!), if I was tackling something like this, I would move the tone pot into the 2nd position and then put in a miniswitch where the tone switch was and wire it as a "blower" switch to go to the bridge full-on with no volume or tone in the circuit. This would give me the main (for me) advantage of the V/V/T setup (going from a rolled-back neck to a full-out bridge). Using the miniswitch as a coil-splitter would be a better option IMO, but the stock pickups in a Monaco Elite aren't splittable, so that's why I went with the scenario above.

Hope that helped a bit.

thanks for all the info. I was actually going to leave it looking stock and have one knob that does nothing. So essentially the 3 way switch works as is with a master volume and tone

Cool. In that case, you should be all set with the diagram I linked to.
