As I was finishing up a string change on my Floyd-equipped Jackson, I managed to crank down the lock nut over the E and B strings too hard, twisting it off inside the metal nut. Is there any fix to this? I assume I'll have to slack all the strings and remove the nut. Is it possible to salvage the nut, or will I have to replace it?
