FOR SALE: 1964 Fender Stratocaster w/ original case

Sunburst, shows expected "natural relicing" but in better shape than most of the ones I see. L-series serial number. Neck date = Oct. '64

Rosewood board, clay dots, mint-green pickguard, staggered-polepiece pickups. "Fender-Pat. Pend." bridge saddles.

Even has the vibrato arm and snap-on bridge cover.

"Cowboy chord area" frets have expected grooving but plays and sounds fine.

No mods. The only repair was replacement of the jack (not the teardrop-shaped part, but the jack itself) and the owner kept the original jack in the case pocket.

Black tolex case w/ orange lining.

Will ship only to lower 48 U.S.

I'm acting as a broker here; owner's asking price is a bit north of $10K, but will consider offers.
