Computer Recording Question

savethematches

Question

I just added several cool VST effect plugins to Acid Music Studio 7. While the effects work perfectly on recorded tracks, I am unable to hear the effects as I'm recording. Is there something I'm missing? Is the program able to do what I'm asking?

Edited to add the following link to free vst effect and instrument plugins.

Some plugins running on the computer's cpu are unavailable in certain programs because of the strain it creates on recording. Pro Tools HD, for example does this, though there are easy ways around it. This should be as a result of Acid, not the plugin. Your best bet is to consult your manual. There may be a low latency recording option that might enable the use of plugins.
