WTB/WTT Hamer Californian

Since the days of my youth (staring at pics with Wolf Hoffman using them), I have wanted a USA Hamer Californian. I think it is finally time.

I have some killer trade bait, including a drop-dead gorgeous Padauk Washburn N4 signed by Nuno Bettencourt, a Custom Shop Jackson PC1, and a Soldano SLO 100 signed by Wayne and Michael Charvel. All of these are like new. (I have some less expensive stuff, too. These are the coolest items I have.)

I am particularly interested in a Cali in flame maple, pearl white, or an interesting graphic.

Please drop me a PM if you have one available! Thanks!

Have to say that that Jackson looks absolutely astonishing!

Gorgeous!

Ben

Thanks, Ben! It's an awesome guitar. It has candy flames outlined in gold leaf over a quilt maple top, on a mahogany body, with a sustainer, dimarzio pickups, gold OFR, you name it, it has it. Mike Learn did the paint for the Jackson Custom Shop, and he has progress pics of this guitar on his web site, CLICK HERE to see it. He is an amazing artist.

The neck totally blows me away. A regular PC1 has a flame maple fretboard and a non-figured, quartersawn maple neck. This guitar has a flame maple fretboard and a flame AND quartersawn maple neck. The only reason I am thinking of letting it go is because the neck is thicker than I like, and it is so perfect, I never take it out of its case.

What year is the N4?

I am not sure of the date of manufacture, but I just bought the N4 brand new from Funky Munky Music on 7-31-2009.

Here's the Soldano SLO 100:

As you can see, it looks like new. It also works great. As most of you probably know, the SLO 100 is a legend, used at various times by Joe Perry, Edward Van Halen, Warren DeMartini, Warren Haynes. It's the top of Soldano's line, and carries a lifetime Soldano warranty, excluding tubes and power supply. There is nothing better.

I bought this SLO directly from Michael Charvel (very nice guy, BTW), and both he and his dad, Wayne Charvel, were kind enough to sign it. I think it is extremely cool, but I find that I am satisfied playing my (much cheaper) Splawn, and I don't like to keep expensive items around that I don't use.

It's all stock, as new, no mods. It was ordered from Soldano with the chicken head knobs.
